This blog is written by Monsanto’s European public affairs team and aims to provide helpful news and views to people looking for information about Monsanto and the world in which we live. It complements the company’s corporate websites for individual countries and regions, our US blog called Beyond the Rows, and our Spanish blog called Hablando Claro. For a general introduction to Monsanto, check out our corporate PPT on the Downloads page.

The News & Views page features news about the Monsanto that you almost never read about in the newspapers or elsewhere on the Internet: a company that is a great place to work and investing a crazy amount of money–more than EUR 6 million a day!–in research and development to help farmers worldwide produce more with less, thereby improving lives. We’ll also post and comment on some things here that others are doing or saying and which we think could help readers better understand the world in which we live.

Reality-Check is the place in which we will respond to some of the bad science, myths, misinformation and generally suspicious stuff that makes the rounds online and off. Among other things it will include letters to the editor, since most media organizations never publish the letters we send them. It also will include our responses to frequently asked questions by journalists so that the answers to questions asked by one journalist might inform and educate others.

The Photos & Videos page links to our Media Library and YouTube channels.

Check out the useful Search box on the home page. That’s the easiest way to find articles on specific topics.
